Austrian Fund Award for MainFirst Absolute Return Multi Asset

"Outstanding" in the category "Mixed Fund Global Multi Asset"

The MainFirst Absolute Return Multi Asset has been awarded this year's Austrian Fund Prize. The Fund Management received the rating "outstanding" for its performance in the category "Mixed Fund Global Multi Asset".

"We are very pleased about this positive confirmation of our investment approach. In contrast to the top-down management of multi-asset funds that is customary in the industry, we pursue a very clear bottom-up strategy and focus on long-term structural growth trends. Our actions are characterised by the timely identification and consistent implementation of these investment opportunities, especially since global trends outlast and often emerge stronger from crisis situations. On the bond side, on the other hand, a quality-oriented selection is made, which is intended to have a stabilising effect on the core risk of the equities in our portfolio. This combination of intensive participation in growth trends on the global stock markets and diversification through high-quality bonds, foreign currencies and gold is compelling in the long term. We see ourselves very well equipped for the future environment and see the fund award as proof of our continuous efforts to generate added value," says fund manager Adrian Daniel.

This recognition is already the second prize that the Fund Team has been able to accept in the current year, following the €uro-Fund Award 2021.

Austrian Fund Award:

The Austrian Fund Award is presented by FONDS professionell together with the daily newspaper "Die Presse" and the Institute for Asset Accumulation IVA / Mountain View, which specialises in portfolio and risk analysis. A total of 33 investment funds were honoured in eleven categories. This year, the awards were not presented in person at the FONDS professionell congresses in Mannheim or Vienna, but the individual winners were notified and the prizes were sent to them.
